CONTROLLER- When we refer to ARLTD,”COMPANY”, “we”, “us”, “our” in this privacy notice we are referring to ourselves as responsible for processing/collecting your data. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us on the numbers below.

This privacy notice aims to inform you of all the relevant information you will need to know regarding your data privacy.



WEBSITE COOKIES

We use cookies to help improve the quality of our website and to tailor it to your needs. If you decide to disable or refuse cookies some parts of our website may not function as well. If you do not want to set cookies, please disable cookies in your browser. When you visit https://www.ascensionrecruitment.co.uk we use  third party services, google and one.com. This is to collect standard log in information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.

Ascension Recruitment LTD is a recruitment company registered in England and Wales which focuses in the Construction industry. We are committed to making sure we have the trust of those who use our services and website.

ARLTD is NOT in the business of any form of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for ANY marketing purposes. Therefore, we do not require you to fill out ANY information we do not deem as necessary on our website for you to contact us. You have the option to be signed up to receive emails regarding opportunities that may be of interest to you but you can Opt-out just as easy as you signed up to receive the emails- Just by simply contacting us via email or the numbers given. We do not collect ANY information that is NOT related to employment purposes. Our website is NOT intended for children and therefore does NOT collect any data relating to the above stated.



2.HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT.

We ONLY collect information about our clients and candidates. All of which would be received directly through those people or through a job board. All data collected is ONLY in relation for recruitment purposes and will be collected through the recruitment process, we will NOT collect any other information that we do not deem as necessary. We do not collect any form of data that relates to banking or any sensitive information to do with payments. We will also collect additional data during the service that you provide to us throughout what we feel is necessary to have during the process of the service we provide.


CONSENT

In limited circumstances ARLTD does not always need your consent to process data. If we need to process this data, it will be done lawfully in complete compliance of the rules in this privacy policy.

We may approach you for your written consent to allow us to process sensitive data. If this is the matter, when we approach you we will provide you with the full details of the purpose of why we need this data and how we will be processing it. This way you can carefully consider whether you wish to give us consent for this. You should be aware that this is not a condition of your contract that you must agree any request of consent from us, it is circumstantial and entirely is up to you to make that decision! For particularly sensitive information which require higher levels of protection, we need to have further consent and justification for collecting, storing and using this type of data. Less commonly, we may need to process this type of information where it is needed to protect your interests or to tailor the service in the best way possible to suit your needs.



3.THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU


During the process of recruitment, we collect different types of data which we have categorised ourselves below. When you use our website, we do not require a substantial amount of data, just the basic contacts details; your full name and email address! Following that, once we have got in contact with you then we may require more in-depth data in order to get the best possible outcome. We do not collect any information regarding criminal offences or convictions. ARLTD does NOT collect any special categories of personal data about you. ( This includes Ethnicity or race, religious or political beliefs, information about your health etc.)


We may receive, use/pass or store different kinds of data we have received about you which will fall under the category of the following:

•Contact Data – Email address, mobile number and in some circumstances social media eg: Linkedin

•Identity Data –  Full name, gender, area location, career, work history

•Profile Data – Interests and preferences

As stated, we can assure you we only use the data we receive for recruitment purposes. We may keep your data if we believe that we could use it in the future to benefit you, whether this be to find a better opportunity, or to contact you regarding great candidates who may be interested to work for your company.


IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

In order for ARLTD to provide the best service required, we will need to receive the necessary data. If you fail to provide us with this, we will not be able provide our services to you and will notify you if this is the case.



4.WHY WE NEED THIS INFORMATION

The data we collect is ONLY for recruitment. We may request this information if it is lawfully permitted, or whether it is deemed necessary. We will NEVER request any unnecessary information that we believe will not be beneficial to the service we provide. Therefore any further data we have requested from you will ultimately be to benefit yourself and to help progress the service we provide.


5.DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL DATA AND THIRD PARTIES

All third parties that we work with respect the security of your personal data and will treat it in accordance with the law. Data is only processed within these third parties with authorisation of us first and is only used in accordance of instructions from us. Your data is NOT allowed to be used for any other purposes. Below we have listed the third parties we use. ARLTD only uses External Third Parties to help us with the recruitment process. Explaining this further, Our Third Parties consist of Service Providers such as administration systems which help us safely use, process and store your data for the current, and if necessary future processes of recruitment.  These Third Parties are GDPR compliant and all take pride in keeping your data safe.

6.DATA SECURITY,DATA RETENTION AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS


We have put in the place the necessary security measures to prevent your data from being accessed, used or lost in an unauthorised manor. ARLTD cares about the privacy of your information and takes pride in maintaining the security of it. We ONLY process data through third parties if we deem it is necessary (For example: Placing contact details of your company that we recruit for, so if we get great candidates we can easily let you know.) The Third parties we use do not process any data of yours without the permission of us, and we can assure you that ANY data processed is lawfully permitted and strictly for a recruitment purpose.


So, how long do we keep/use your data for? ARLTD will only keep your data for as long as we feel it is necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. To calculate the appropriate retention period for your personal data, we will consider several points. How much personal data we have of yours, the nature and sensitivity of it, the applicable legal requirements and whether we can still fulfil the purposes we collected it for, without having this information anymore. You have the right at ANY time to request your data to be removed if this is what you wish.


YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

You have rights under the Data protection Laws which protect you and your information. By law you have the right to:

•Have your data amended- At any point, if you feel we need to adjust the data we have on you we can do this with your consent.

•Have your data erased- If you want to be forgotten from our company and feel you do not need our services anymore, you always have the right to inform us. If you also feel like you want specific data erased, with your consent we can do this at any time.

•Have your say in decision making- We will always ask for your consent in the process of recruitment. This includes, the data we have on you, how we process this data, and who the data is passed on to. We will not take any action until we have your authorisation.

•Withdraw your consent at any time- You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time if you feel that is what you want during the service we provide. There are given circumstances regarding clients, please look in our terms of business to find out more on this.

•Make a complaint- If you ever feel that we have no provided the service to a substantial standard, you will always have the right to have your say. It is your right to be able to contact us if you feel like you have had any issues.

•Request access to your data/ Review the data we have on you- It is your right to be able to access your data, as well as your right to review the data we have on you at any time.

•Request data portability- It is your right to request us to pass on your data to Third parties if it is done lawfully, within the policy regulations and consent from you.

•Restrict data processing- You have the right to not have your data processed at ANY time if this is what you wish. You always have a say in your data that we process.
